So here's my dilema....I've been in a slight reading slump. Not the normal kind though. It just so happens that the last couple of titles that I've read (and loved) have not had the happy endings that I was hoping for. I'm starting to get a little discouraged here you guys. It's starting to get tough to pick a new read. So while I know there are a huge amount of great titles out there that have just hit the shelves, I got to thinking. I went through the titles I've got lining my shelves at home hoping that maybe I could re-read a title that I know would have a guaranteed happy ending. But then I started to realize how many titles I've still yet to read and that was when I threw up my hands. I've decided that for every new book I venture to try, that I'm going to read one book that I've already got at home that's been left unread.
So here's my list (please don't judge it's length) and that's my goal. No new books until a previously owned and unread book is finished first. I figure it's the perfect incentive with so many great titles coming to the bookstores in the next couple of months. I'll be counting down until I can get my hands on them, but I'll be forcing myself to make use out of the titles I already have first. Wish me luck and as always happy reading!
