In My Mailbox (25)

This is a meme that I first heard about from Kristi over at The Story Siren and immediately wanted to jump on board.

The past week has been crazy with unpacking from the New Orleans trip and me trying to catch up on my sleep. Sorry for the lack of posts this week but I'm getting back into the swing of things and I had some ARCs and other reading materials waiting for me on my return trip, best way to come home if you ask me! What did you guys get this week? Anything I should be adding to my TBR list? I'm always looking for suggestions.

ARC Tours

Bitter Frost by Kailin Gow (Traveling ARC Tours)

All her life, Breena had always dreamed about fairies as though she lived among them...beautiful fairies living among mortals and living in Feyland. In her dreams, he was always there the breathtakingly handsome but dangerous Winter Prince, Kian, who is her intended. When Breena turns sixteen, she begins seeing fairies and other creatures mortals don t see. Her best friend Logan, suddenly acts very protective. Then she sees Kian, who seems intent on finding her and carrying her off to Feyland. That's fine and all, but for the fact that humans rarely survive a trip to Feyland, a kiss from a fairy generally means death to the human unless that human has fairy blood in them or is very strong, and although Kian seemed to be her intended, he seems to hate her and wants her dead.

Book of Revenge (Knight Angels #2) by Abra Ebner (thanks to Abra)

New characters, New world, but old enemies. Emily struggles to ignore a new friend with emotions that temp her, Wes delves deeper into his past and family while finding friendship isn't reserved for the human race alone, Jane finds out her dear Max isn't what he seems, Gregs friendships cost him more than he expected, and Max forgets that the truth is best. But then again, someone always has to be the liar...

Emotional baggage, begrudged enemies, and the bitterness that comes when the honeymoon of their friendship fades...

Will the love survive, or as it all just a game?

End of Days (Night Runner #2) by Max Turner (thanks to YA Book Central)

In this thrilling follow up to Night Runner, Zack Thomson is back with his friend Charlie, searching for answers all the while being hunted by a creature most deadly...

As the story unfolds, and the ties between Zach and his girlfriend Luna intensify, the network of support around them collapses, forcing them to redefine their notions of good and evil and find a way forward.

StarCrossed (Thief Errant #1) by Elizabeth C. Bunce (thanks to YA Books Central)

Digger thrives as a spy and sneak-thief among the feuding religious factions of Gerse, dodging the Greenmen who have banned all magic. But when a routine job goes horribly wrong and her partner and lover Tegen is killed, she has to get out of the city, fast, and hides herself in a merry group of nobles to do so. Accepted as a lady's maid to shy young Merista Nemair, Digger finds new peace and friendship at the Nemair stronghold--as well as plenty of jewels for the taking. But after the devious Lord Daul catches her in the act of thievery, he blackmails her into becoming his personal spy in the castle, and Digger soon realizes that her noble hosts aren't as apolitical as she thought... that indeed, she may be at the heart of a magical rebellion.
